01 Current state — pick all that apply
States can coexist. Select everything that is true right now.
No entries yet.
Log at least 3 entries to see patterns.
Log at least 3 entries to see loop frequency.
Step 01
Name the state
When something shifts internally — tension, narrowing, withdrawal, cognitive friction — name it. Do not interpret it yet. Do not ask why. Just name what is true right now. States can coexist.
"OBP active. State: tight + flat simultaneously."
"Something is running. State: overloaded."
Step 02
Brain dump
Write everything that might be running. No filtering. No structure. Who, what decision, what contradiction, what unfinished thing, what unclear expectation. The goal is externalization, not analysis. The system organizes it. Your job is to get it out.
Step 03
Classify each loop
For each item from the dump, make one decision. Not a good decision. A decision. Any decision terminates the loop better than no decision.
close now — I have enough to decide
schedule — I will address this at [specific time]
ask — I need one piece of information
park — real but not actionable now. Review [date]
discard — not mine to solve, or cannot be solved
Step 04
Write closure language
One sentence per loop. Create an explicit termination condition. The goal is not resolution. The goal is to give the system a signal that the loop does not need to keep running.
"This is unresolved, but no action is required tonight."
"This person is not classified yet. Put in neutral bucket."
"This decision is parked until Monday at 10am."
"This ambiguity may never resolve. I am choosing to release the processing."
Wait 20 minutes
Observe the result
Do not check immediately. Give the system time to process the closure signals. After 20 minutes, note: better, same, or worse. That observation is the data.
Your entries are stored in memory only. Nothing is sent anywhere. The exported JSON contains all fields, all loop items, and all timestamps. This is the raw dataset for the OBP test.
